1500 FEET OF SUPPORT FROM ENGINE 87 AT BARN FIRE

JULY 09 - At approximately 14:30, engine 87 was dispatched to stand by in Irwin VFD's station. Irwin and surrounding fire departments were operating at a barn fire on Schade Hill Road in the Larimer section of North Huntingdon Township. FIREWORKS STANDBY....87 TRUCK ON THE JOB

JUNE 18 - Murrysville VFD requested truck 87 to assist with their fireworks display this evening. We were more than happy to assist. Truck 87 and a crew of 6 firefighters responded to the standby. During the fireworks display, truck 87 was used to check for hot embers which may land on the roof of a nearby church during the show.

STRUCTURE FIRE AT LOCAL SPORTING GOODS STORE

MAY 04 - At 19:03 alert tones were activated for a reported structure fire at K Specials, a local sporting goods store in Paintertown VFD's first due district. Truck, Engine and Rescue 87 responded with over 16 firefighters to assist. Police arrived on scene quickly and reported a working fire with possible entrapment. MOCK ACCIDENT AT PT HIGH SCHOOL--RESCUE 87 PERFORMS DEMONSTRATION

MAY 04 - At 13:00, rescue 87 was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with multiple entrapment at Penn Trafford High School. Police arrived on scene, confirming entrapment and requested all units to expedite as there were serious injuries inside both vehicles, including at least one fatality.

BILLY ELMER PLAYS TO LARGE CROWD FOR HCVFD FUNDRAISER

APRIL 10 - Billy Elmer and Mike Wysocki played to a large crowd Saturday night during our annual comedy night fundraiser. Billy's hilarious take on life was on comedic display for the audience to enjoy. Opening for Billy was Mike Wysocki from the 'Dve morning.
