Traffic Control, HCVFD assist Penn Township Police

On Sunday morning around 11:00am, station 87 was dispatched to assist PTPD with traffic control on Pleasant Valley Road near General Weldments. Apparently a vehicle left the roadway and plunged 150+ feet down an embankment sometime during the early morning hours. The driver self-extricated and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. The incident is currently under investigation.
